This is a great day for attorneys trying to get their elligible clients to the finish line before DHS has right to take them into detention. I also like the fact that the IJ did not care that DHS could not go forward, becuae it did not have it's file. Having driven from St. Petersburg to Miami dozens of times for hearings, only to have it continuned by the government because they could not locate the A-file, I feel personally vindicated. If I came to court unprepared and without my client file, judge would not likley grant me any continuances. Why is the government attorney allowed a laxer standard? Go BIA1
