It has been reported that the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals yesterday denied an emergency motion seeking an injunction of the "Show me your papers" provision of the Arizona immigration law. The motion sought to suspend the provision while an appeal filed by a coalition of opponents of the law remains pending. The provision went into effect on September 18, 2012.
