Univision Bumps NBC to Become the #4 Network

Rate this Entry
This is not a media blog, but for folks on the Hill who are involved in the immigration debate, this may be one of the most important headlines of the year. If the power of America's Hispanic community was not clear to anti-immigrant forces in the GOP after the fall election, this news should be eye opening. Not only does it quantify Hispanic power in a way that is easy to understand, but Univision's immigration coverage has been deeper than any of the other networks and politicians who hope to make inroads with Latino voters but who plan on pursuing policies designed to suppress Hispanic political power (such as making it impossible for legalized immigrants to eventually get citizenship), will find that needle nearly impossible to thread.

It's certainly the most biased. Jorge Ramos and Mar?a Elena Salinas openly admit to being activists, yet they are offended when not asked to moderate debates and ask their loaded questions.

I saw one comment and thought Jack wrote something stupid and mildly racist again. And he sure did.

What exactly is "mildly racist" in my post?
