More Proof Rubio Won't Introduce Dream Bill

Rating: 2 votes, 1.00 average.

Remember I said that Marco Rubio's worst nightmare would be if he introduced his bill and it was embraced by all of the Democrats and none of the GOP? And then President Obama signed it with great fanfare? Well, it sure sounds like he's trying to antagonize Democrats to make sure this doesn't happen. Democrats -  don't be fooled.Turn the other cheek, show Rubio some love and make him introduce his bill.

According to House speaker John Boehner, Dream Act 2.0 is unlikely to pass in the house as there is not enough Republican support for the bill. All 8 republicans who voted to pass Dream Act last time around are no longer in the house.

I think its time to scrap the entire Dream Act 2.0 and treat all undocumented as one group. If President is kind enough to "parole" all those undocumented who have been minimum 5yrs in the country and offer temporary permits, it can change the conversation overnight.

90 Law professors write to President what kinds of executive powers he has to provide relief to dreamers (since administration authorities are claiming that President has no such powers)
