I am sure she would be just as happy to have her baby in her native Spain. She does not need a GC, but she can have one if she wants to.....

If Murdoch is indeed pro-immigrant he should fire those people!

And I will consider the modification of 14th amendment if Steve King and company also only count citizens towards re-districting. As it stands now, racist whites in places like Georgia and Arizona gain an extra seat in congress just because of the illegals.

"The term 'anchor baby' is equivalent to other defamatory terms such as 'wetback,' 'pickaninny' and 'tar baby.'"

Seriously? Those refer contemptuously to people of a specific race. "Anchor baby" does not refer to race and is about benefits illegal aliens acquire when a child of their's is born in the U.S. That is a legitimate public policy concern.

Jack according to the constitution of the US as of today everyone born in the US is a US citizen. The only ones that are concerned about this "legitimate public policy concern" are people like you, antis and racist a like, just because you do not like your label does not mean you do not wear it well. So just get over it and accept what you stand for....I am sure you are quite comfortable!!!

Anchor babies have become an issue because the babies born are no longer white. The people who oppose anchor babies are the same folk who did not want Frishke's Japanese widow and her mixed race baby to come to the US..people like Sessions. If the baby was fully white, they will have no problems!

Why presume this child will want to be a US citizen? Such hubris!
She wants to come to a top notch US facility to deliver and then her child will decide at age 21 if s/he cares to have a US passport. A Spanish one may be perfectly fine...or better?

Only in the US would people from Spain and Portugal be considered non-white. I heard that the Hispanic category was created initially to prevent the blacks from getting most of the goodies and they (Hispanics) made eligible for affirmative action, because the people were simply uncomfortable having too many blacks around. About twenty years ago, a consulting firm was investigated by EEOC for hiring only whites. Turned out, they had hired a lot of Hispanic and Arab women..yes, white looking Hispanic and Arab women...and hence the EEOC could not take any action! So, when it is convenient Hispanics are white, otherwise even babies born to folks from Spain and Portugal, even the white looking folks from those countries, are considered non-white. On a side note, the folks who get stopped all the time in AZ by Arapaio and company, besides Hispanic looking folks, are light skinned Indians..who are frequently mistaken for Hispanics. In a recent incident, a light skinned Indian woman wa detained while her dark skinned Indian collegaue was not.

Now if Charlize Theron had a baby with another white South African in the US, Fox and Senator Sessions and Steve King will not have any problems

And those benefits are... none. Ancor baby is a derogatory term for the first generation Americans, like, probably your own grandmother.
