If they want to stop the Sharia Law in OK, they need to legalize the Christian illegals from Mexico, not just the kids...the country needs more Christians to stop the Sharia Law!! Are these folks really Christian or as I have frequently insisted that they are white skin worshipping pagan heathens masquerading as Christians....

They want to stop the Sharia Law...power comes in numbers...legalize the Christian illegals from Mexico.

    Democrats confirmed NO on DREAM:

Ben Nelson, Mark Pryor, Jon Tester, Max Baucus.

Was confirmed NO but might be Yes with changes made to DREAM:

    Claire McClaskill.

    Democrats leaning NO:

Kent Conrad, Joe Manchin, Byron Dorgan.

    Fence sitters:

    Jim Webb

Durbin doesn't appear to have the votes:

    http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/131941-durbin-dream-act-up-for-senate-vote-next-week

Durbin demurred when asked whether he has the votes.

"I'm working on it, talking to members," he said.

UTAH bill plans to issue work permits, bring undocumented out of shadows w/ path to citizenship

    great link, gg.

"Under provisions in the Robles bill, undocumented immigrants would have to pass a background check before qualifying for a permit to live and work in Utah."

Unfortunately for the Robles bill, there are federal laws which relate to the hiring of aliens--they must be of a class authorized to be employed (not unlawfully present). The AZ bill was enjoined even though it was based on federal law. This bill directly contravenes the federal statutory scheme related to the hiring of aliens and thus would seem to have an extremely poor chance of being upheld. The funny part will be watching it be supported by people who opposed the AZ bill on the grounds that it infringed on the federal power and thus had to be enjoined. Will Justice be right down in Utah to sue the second it passes?

    The Coming Latino Revolt

The Senate is set to vote on a controversial immigration bill. If it fails, Rep. Luis Guti?rrez tells Bryan Curtis he's prepared to ditch Obama and the Democrats--and take the movement to the streets.

May be unlike Jack, Rene Ellmers and the OK legislature (Arapaio, Pierce and Brewer are die hard white skin worshipping pagans who masquerade as Christians when they are worried about the Sharia), these guys are really terrified about the state getting the Sharia law (although many like the moslems believe in polygamy as long as the multiples (not couples) happen to be all-white). As late as last June many in the state were talking about the draconian laws that they intended to pass, similar to that of Arizona. Now may be they want to bring them out of the shadow and convert them to mormonism so that they can sure Sharia does not come to the state. The campaign theme for legalizing illegals should be very simple...if you are for Sharia vote against amnesty. If you want to maintain Judeo-Christian values legalize. People against amnesty are for SHARIA LAW and these include folks like Brewer, Pearce and others.

Jack, I wonder what kind of law violations do you have under your belt? You've been around long enough here, you don't need to lie.

My question is "what is in the bill that will stop this from happening again?"

This is an easy get-a-way for illegal parents too. This is how future illegals will beat the system:

Get kids when you cross the border illegally.
Force the congress to pass laws for the kids..
Kids get green card and become citizens in 6 years
Kids apply for greens for their illegal parents.
Illegal parents get green cards after an year.
So in 7 years kids as well as parents get greencards.

Now lets see how LEGAL immigrants get green cards.
Retrogressed legal immigrants who came legally to the country and worked hard, paid taxes and into the system and maintained their legal status, are still waiting for the past 8 years. For some categories it may take 20+ years for them to get a green card.

Even though I am sympathetic towards the childrens, but I feel its not fair to let the Legal immigrants rot when illegal applicants are allowed to get green cards.

Just shows how little you know about immigration laws. Or that you get your information from Faux News, which is virtually the same thing as knowing nothing and thinking you know everything (aka lack of metacognition).

    1) Get kids over the border (lets assume parents are 30).
    2) Wait for the DREAM Act to pass - 5-15 years.
3a) Get kids green cards - 10 years (per current version of the law).
3b) Get kids citizenship - 3 years (per current version of the law).
4a) Get kids to apply for parents - 1 year. Oops parents are inadmissible because they crossed the border illegally. They need to leave the country.
4b) 10 year admissibility bar strikes. 10 years.
    5) Parents come back to the US with green cards - 1 year.

Total time to green card 30-40 years; parents will be 60-70 y.o when they get their green cards. Now you can go into a rightful rage about illegals getting everything before legals.

It is very easy: the folks who rail against illegal Hispanics are fearful of a moslem majority and Sharia Law. The choice is clear: if you want to preserve a Christian majority and stop Sharia Law vote for amnesty. If you want the Sharia Law vote against amnesty. End of story. If Renee Elmers is afraind of moslems building a victory mosque she will vote for amnesty and let the Christian Hispanics in. If she is a white skin worshipper (which I fear she is!) she will vote against amnesty and play the moslem card in the elections.

I am pretty certain that most Europeans will consider Hispanics to be white and accept everyone from Mexico if it will stop the Sharia Law on their continent.

Any person making sharia law an issues should be put on the spot to defend their anti-Christian Hispanic, anti-amnesty strategy to paint them as nothing more than white skin worshipping pagans masquerading as Christians. Schumer is pretty much anti-Islam pro-Israel and pro-amnesty senator. Why he does not frame this as a Judeo-Christian issue is way beyond me!

    Here is my break down.
    #####
    1) Get kids over the border (lets assume parents are 30).
    2) Wait for the DREAM Act to pass - 5-15 years.
    >>> Legal immigrants (employment based) have been waiting in line for the past 10 years. They did nothing wrong. But yet are waiting.

3a) Get kids green cards - 10 years (per current version of the law).
    >>>>>> Legal immigrants Will get green card and after 15 to 20 years and some cases even may go to 30 years as per USCIS's own calculations.

3b) Get kids citizenship - 3 years (per current version of the law).
    >>>>> After green card Legal immigrants get citizenship after 5 years.

4a) Get kids to apply for parents - 1 year. Oops parents are inadmissible because they crossed the border illegally. They need to leave the country.
    >>>>>>> Well they chose to come here illegally. I do know they came for work.

4b) 10 year admissibility bar strikes. 10 years.
    >>> yeah this part is bad. I agree here.
    5) Parents come back to the US with green cards - 1 year.
    >>>> they would still be better off then Legal immigrants.

">>>>>>> Well they chose to come here illegally. I do know they came for work. "

Because there was a ton of opportunities for them to come and stay legally, and they CHOSE to come illegally, right? Unlike potential immigrants with college degrees, there is no such thing as H1 for those without, and there are no opportunities to come legally. The quota for unskilled workers in EB is 5,000 a year while 300K-500K come illegally. Yes, they came for work. Just like you and me. H1 is bad enough, and 140K EB quota is bad enough, but the sour deal they got did not even get close to the no-so-good deal we got. That's the point.

I'm happy to see the Dream act gathering support, though I doubt it will pass once the lame duck session is over. I support the bill because though I support the citizenship for military vets provision, as well as the path toward being a productive member of society.
