DEPORTATIONS HIT RECORD HIGH

Rate this Entry

According to DHS, nearly 400,000 individuals were deported, half of them those charged with crimes. If you listen to the antis, they'll have you believing that the federal government is doing nothing to enforce immigration laws. But the statistics tell the story. Every time an anti in Congress says they're for reforming immigration laws but first want to make sure our existing laws are being enforced, this data should be recited.

There are more deportations on this current administration compared to Bush's. More employer audits as well and new record fines; more troops sent to the border and of course a bill passed into law about securing the border.

This current administration and Congress did more for securing the border and enforcement of immigration laws than the previous administration and Congress. That's a fact.

And who hires illegals? It seems to me that more businesses and individuals that are linked to the GOP hire illegals.

Obama is playing right onto the hands of the Cans & antis. All the enforcement measures will not get the Cans on board. Dropping the single payer system from the healthcare bill was an example of arm twisting by the Cans & after it was taken off none of them voted for it. The current healthcare bill is a failure & will add trillions to the ballooning deficit.

He needs to rally all the Dems for passing the CIR if he wants to get reelected. If the economy does not recover in the next 2 yrs & CIR does not pass Obama could end up with Hillary Clinton on the ticket as VP for better reelection chances.

Well in the eyes of the antis/republicans and nativists these numbers are way short of the 12,000,000 undocumented immigrants, my sense is that they will say that the border is not secure yet and therefore any talk of CIR is premature....
