The federal government does not inspire confidence. It is an inbred organization where it is difficult for someone outside the government to land a job. The only exception is the Fed and the congress wants it to look like the rest of the government. According to the World Economic Forum, the judicial independence in the US has literally collapsed and in 2008 US ranked with India among the politicized judicary..may be because of elected law enforcement and judges at many states such as Texas. However, the Salahi incident at the White House is more telling than this one...that incident definitely did not inspire confidence. Perhaps the US government and legal system can learn something from immigrants and foreigners studying in this country..particularly foreigners from places such as Scandinavia, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Singapore.

I also wonder whether the woman is related to Pat Buchanan! Would not surprise me!

Here is the link to the text of the CIR ASAP. It has provisions for Visa Recapture, raise the per-country limit, and also, excludes dependents from the annual cap numbers.. etc.. etc.. Overall, this proves to be a very good bill for us LEGAL immigrants too..

Here are the few major highlights pertaining to us..
