SUPREME COURT DECISION USES TERM "UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANT" FOR FIRST TIME

In a unanimous decision penned by new Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the nation's highest court used the term "undocumented immigrant" instead of "illegal alien".
The latter term had been used in dozens of opinions in the past. The
case only tangentially related to immigration issues, by the way.
