I think these children need a good immigration lawyer. They have a good case based on hardship..

It's a good thing that the main stream media is bringing to light these stories as part of the immigration debate. Although a potent argument in favor in these harsh economic times could be the contributions that all immigrants bring to the US and would continue to do so in the future. We will need all the help we can get to get out of the crisis and pay for the bailouts.

I'm writing you because I need immigration reform that will really help me & my husband. I-130, I-212, I-601, I-864, won't help me. We have not filed the I-130 yet. We thought we could migrate to Canada, (they didn't validate my husband's education-earned illegally). We were going to begin the I-130 etc., but the success ratio is low, it's 3 yr process, & $10K. One attorney told me I had to live in the US & just visit my husband to show I could not adjust in Colombia. Another attorney told me that if I live in the US it will appear that I can live without my husband. I believe nonthing matters, except MOOD of the USCIS Rep. I don't want to live without my husband & I don't want to live in Colombia. If I could pay $10K with a guarantee & in far less time than 3yrs it would be done already .If you were me what would you do? Live in the US without your husband? Live in Colombia where you're afraid & no one will visit you? Live with all your in-laws & barely make ends meet? Whould you have children in the US without your husband to be there for the birth? (You're 32 now, so you don't have a lot of time) Would you raise them alone? Would you have them in Colombia? Raise them in Colombia? If you were my husband would you have left the US at 16 after your father took you to the gov't for help to become legal & instead forced to sign docs. that would never allow you to become legal? How would you feel? You speak English, you paid taxes, you worked in Physical Therapy, worked as hard as you could, now your entire life isn't valid & your ability to become legal doesn't exist. Please help me get back to the US with my husband in a manner you would like done for yourself, your daughter, your sister, or your wife. ICE should be concentrating on dangerous issues. The US should be spending money & time on securing the borders & protecting the US from dangerous immigrants, legal or illegal. Why should we allow people to reside in the US with legal status, not citizenship, but legal status if they have committed serious crimes. Please consider the Americans involved & what will help America more. Since no cares about my safety, please know this, my situation has ruined my credit as well as my husbands. I am struggling to make it here in Colombia on pesos, would you keep paying your US student loans or other debt?
