CLINTON PROMISES MEXICO ACTION ON IMMIGRATION REFORM

Rate this Entry

The Secretary of State told an audience on her Mexico trip that the Administration will move on the issue this year. That's encouraging, though people need to remember that President Bush made the same promise to Mexico.

Bush made the same promise, tried to keep his promise, but his Rep cohorts failed him miserably. They made the situation so much worse.
Hopefully Obama approaches things a bit differently and gets stuff done.

Important people are now started to speak up and I think its a good development. I dont think the Secretary of State Mrs Clinton would make any such promise without the backing of President Obama.

The event, one stop on a 20-city tour, is to be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Greater Apostolic Faith Temple at 4735 W. Fort.

U.S. Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez, D-Ill., who chairs the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Immigration Task Force, also is to attend the event.

    yo all hopefuls!

Politicians will never say NO. They will say CIR will be done. CIR will be done. We will do this.

Its just a game they play very smart.

What do you expect any official to talk about when they go to Mexico? Drugs/Immigration

Do you expect any one to say we dont care what havoc the drugs cause and we dont care about immigration right now, we have a double plate??

Get real guys! talk is cheap.. action is...

As I said, this is the Texas version of Arapaio..there is even worse than this..another Texas version of Arapaio...

If severe action is not taken against Arapaio, peope like George Bowers will start screwing around with African Americans. Conyers and Sheila Lee Jackson as African Americans must pay heed! This is nothing but plain old racism, Mark Kirkorian and Dan Stein style!

Gross lack of common sense, compassion and discretion is right on the button but in fairness like everything else I think only a few bad eggs gives everyone the bad rap.

We just have to find a good way to weed out the undesirables.
