BORDER PATROL TRIES USING MUSIC AS PROPAGANDA TOOL

Rate this Entry

A reader sent me a link to a story in the Washington Post which discusses a little known program where the Border Patrol is paying musicians to write songs warning Mexicans about the dangers of crossing in to the US. And they seem to think its working (though I have no idea how they really could tell).

DHS is getting bizarre by the minute! First they are wasting taxpayer money to deport dead people instead of protecting the country against authentic terrorists and now they play music to keep Mexican away.

I thought about one more thing..the TARP money..first the government tells the Banks not to pay bonuses to the people who brought the financial system to its knees and should fire them..and by the same token tells the Bank that they should rehire these folks over hiring H1Bs..pretty bizarre.

It does seem though, that priorities are misaligned. Good point.
