NY TIMES: ICE MISLED CONGRESS ON USE OF RAIDS FUNDS

Rate this Entry

This is more than just a story about how ICE is focusing on non-criminal aliens rather than the criminals DHS has touted to request more and more funding from Congress. This story shows step by step how ICE abandoned its promise and it should be a wake up call to Congress to have better oversight over how its funds are spent.

That just shows the two face approach that the Bush administration had on immigration, on the one hand they wanted to " pass it" on the other hand they wanted the nativist at the republican party to be happy. At the end they seem to failed at both...

hmmm, who ever heard of a bureaucracy using it's budget in conflict with stated policy? Imagine that: a law enforcement outfit taking the easy route over the important route? That couldn't possibly be so. I'm clicking my heels as hard as I can...

Are you kidding? ICE and DHS are charged with finding and removing all illegal aliens. How can preforming their duties as required by law be misleading? Obviously not, but the NYT and Siskind want more illegals in the U.S. plain and simple. This is not about absconders or aliens with criminal convictions (as all illegal aliens are criminals by definition as they all committ fraud at entry or enter without inspection and both are crimes), but it is about the agenda of the immigration bar and the Democrat Party. More illegals are good for both.
