This is a video made by a fellow upset about checkpoints being set up by the Border Patrol (which are popping up in lots of places). I have to admit that I felt conflicted while watching this. The lady was just doing her job and was not being rude or out of line. On the other hand, these checkpoints are one more reminder that Congress has failed to do its job and reform our immigration system so that employers can legally bring in needed workers. I'm sure folks will have a lot to say in the comments:

I'm amazed by the patience shown by the BP lady. I don't think I could have kept my cool while dealing with this jackass.

It looks like the immimgration bills are dead for now as per the attached link.

Congress Daily AM reported today that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) stripped the AgJOBS amnesty from the Iraq supplemental spending bill last night, as well as the increase in visas for employment-based permanent workers. However, provisions to increase H-2B visas for unskilled seasonal workers remain in the bill.

This guy is definitely on a quest, and he has posted other similar videos on You Tube. Still if he really thinks the checkpoint is unlawful, why is he talking to the officer? It would be more consistent if he would just drive away, after mentioning that the checkpoint is unlawful and he is under no obligation to answer questions or stop. To further prove the point, next time he should bring along a couple of Latino passengers carrying no IDs. That would be brave indeed.
