USCIS ADVISES ON CONVERTING CASES IN CAP GAP SITUATIONS

Rate this Entry

The OPT rule that came out recently had a provision allowing OPT work cards for F-1 students to automatically be extended until October 1st in cases where H-1B change of status applications were filed and selected in the lottery. Many people filed cases without requesting a change of status and they are not covered under the rule. However, USCIS has decided to make it easier to convert the cases to change of status and has provided email addresses to make the requests. Information explaining what to do is in the attached memorandum.

I do not see Mark Kirkorian and Dan Stein protesting education budget cuts as making us too dependent on foreign skills. I dont see them shouting in front of the CA legislature with placards saying that Education Budget cuts = more foreign skills at the expense of US kids. Shows their true colors. They dont care whether we have skills or not or if the US children suffer as a result of budget cuts..all they care is that less non-whites come into this country..if they were not racists, and genuinely interested in American students, they would be in front of the CA legislature fighting education budget cuts. The fact that they are not doing this, clearly makes them Racists with a big R.
