    Hi Greg,

USCIS has issued a new directive that requires biometrics as part of the AP application. Do you know if it affects those who had their biometrics done as part of the AOS application? It might sound like a stupid question but will they have the common sense to link the biometrics done for I-1485 to the I-131 application?

    Thanks.

SAVE Act among other things says

"Notification of Mismatched Name and Social Security Number- The Commissioner of Social Security shall notify on an annual basis each United States employer with one or more employees whose social security account number does not match the employees name or date of birth in the Commissioners records. Such notification shall instruct employers to notify listed employees that they have 10 business days to correct the mismatch with the Social Security Administration or the employer will be required to terminate their employment. The notification also shall inform employers that they may not terminate listed employees prior to the close of the 10-day period."

10 days! What a nice law...

    Greg,
how this will works? Do you think that they can add some provision more immigrants favor?
Do you have any inside news? What about the 5 years window time for the undocumented alien?

Who cares if it does not pass and signed by the President. As far as making it a major issue, it was not successful in IL 14, where Oberweis lost, in VA State elections and in the US Presidential elections. Right wing of the GOP is desperate.
