LUNCH WITH LOU

Rating: 2 votes, 5.00 average.

Here's an interesting piece from Lawrence Downes in the New York Times on the journalist's recent lunch with Lou Dobbs and his ill-fated attempt to convert the CNN "news" anchor. My favorite line:

Mr. Dobbs is unencumbered by self-doubt.

The true sign of an extremist.

Lou "the lunatic looser" Dobbs should have been asked one blunt question: "Why did McCain win and where did Dobbs and the antis go wrong? I call into his show and ask him this question frequently and he cuts me off. Another question I ask is whether in exchange for forcing "American" corporations to bring jobs back here was he ready to sent the Japanese corporations such as Toyota and Honda go back home? Or is he just a selfish felloow? He cuts me off again.

Nice article - Lou Dobbs, the fighter for the "little man", lunching at the Four Seasons in NYC, and apparently he is a very regular customer there. Apparently, bonding over burger and fries in a workign class diner is not his cup of tea.

So I guess he is all air but little substance like the rest of the anti movement. They are just loud but there is nobody home.

What else do you expect from Lou "the lunatic looser" Dobbs? He has made his millions by pedaling nonsense and now he wants to deny the CEOs their share of the spoils. My question is does Lou Dobbs buy Toyota and Honda that create jobs in the US or does he drive GM, a corporation that moves jobs abroad because it happens to be "American".
