'As the relationship between Latinos and the GOP evolves, it appears as if an enforcement-only platform, which means deportation...'

Immigration law enforcement does not equate with deportation. Such a GOP platform does not exist.

Are we enforcing most of the laws, immigration or otherwise?

The worst nightmare for the antis would be a McCain Presidency with 57 Democtratic Senators and Democratic House. Assures that GOP will not take control of congress in 2010, and in the Senate Dems would likely have a filibuster proof majority by 2011.

I think Mccain will lose the latino vote to the Dems, he may be able to hold on the Cuban vote in FLA but that's about it. There is no way to reconcile the hardliners of his party with the needed Immigration reform and that will be his biggest problem when it comes to hanging on to the Latino vote.
