The Wall Street Journal reports on how today was the day that crowned the candidate who was the most anti-"amnesty" and the toughest on immigration. But the voters proved to be a lot less xenophobic and a lot more pragmatic than the candidates hoping to capitalize on stirred up nativism anticipated.
