DEMOCRATS COURT HISPANIC VOTERS IN MIAMI

Rate this Entry

After Iraq, there is probably no issue that more clearly distinguishes the Republican field of candidates for President from the Democrats. This morning's story from the NY Times certainly drives home the point.

I watch this thing last night as in any campaign forum cadidates were vague in their answers but at least all of them see to support Immigration reform and promise to do it on their first year if they were elected. But knowing Washing ton they can always blame it on Congress if it does not get done. They di not wasate time to blame Bush for amissed opportunity ti fix the Immigration system while having complete control of congress, like Immigrants could count on republican for Immigration reform. I was also glad to see them bash Rush Limbaugh and Lou Dobbs for spreading racism in America when it came to immigrants.

Yeah, come to Florida and ask for our votes - but don't count our delegates in the primary. I am livid at Howard Dean for excluding Florida delegates.
