IMPORTANT CORRECTION OF NO MATCH FAQ

Rate this Entry

Just a little correction on my FAQ from last week on the new no match rule. I indicated it takes effect on August 10th, 30 days from the date the rule was released to the media. It is actually 30 days from the date of publication in the Federal Register. That just happened so the actual effective date is September 14th.

Do you know the effective date on the new TN rules? Are they also effective on Sept 14? Thanks

There are not actually new TN rules - just plans to make a new TN rule. So no effective date.

Greg, here's one for your blog. The crackdown on undocumented due to tough laws passed in Colorado last year is affecting business so much so that the State Legislature is now trying to do a State level guest worker program or even try to null and void the 2006 laws. Maybe others States can learn from CO mistakes.

OHHHH man that is a great article TX these people are having a taste of their own soup. I bet when they were passing these laws they wer all gone ho about it now they want people to come back. May be Tom Tancredo will help them to get some workers back in Colorado.
