    FYI: https://s3.amazonaws.com/public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2012-08907.pdf

A Notice was just filed with the Federal Register entitled: CONTINUATION OF THE NATIONAL EMERGENCY WITH RESPECT TO SOMALIA
    It states, in part:

"Because the situation with respect to Somalia continues
to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national
security and foreign policy of the United States, the national
emergency declared on April 12, 2010, and the measures adopted
on that date to deal with that emergency, must continue in
effect beyond April 12, 2012. Therefore, in accordance with
section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C.
1622(d)), I am continuing for 1 year the national emergency
    declared in Executive Order 13536."

NOTE: Current Somalia TPS is set to expire on September 17, 2012.

    Hi Bruce

I read your interesting article. I would like to add one more item to your list - a souvener bought from Edison museum in Florida. My daughter bought this when she visited the museun to bring it home. She could not take it to Philadelphia as hand baggage. She did not want to pack it as it could break.
