ITEMS

1. Comment: I Want My Immigration Daily - In their legitimate

zeal to protect their customers from spam, Internet Service

Providers (ISPs) often incorrectly categorize legitimate emails

like your issue of Immigration Daily as undesired and prevent

these emails from ever reaching your inbox. In many cases, the

emails end up in junk folders. To reduce the chances of this

happening to you in the future, please add the email address

editor@ilw.com (the address from which Immigration Daily is sent)

to your email program contact list, or add it to your "white

list", or mark an issue of Immigration Daily as "not junk" -

whichever is applicable in your case. This lets your ISP know

that you want Immigration Daily to be delivered to you and

reduces the chance of it being blocked. If you stop receiving

your Immigration Daily issues anytime, please let us know by

writing to mailto:webmaster@ilw.com and we will do what we can to

help.

13. Focus: Marketing Audit Report

The advent of the internet has changed the playing field for

marketing efforts for every business. While some of the old

channels of marketing still work, many do not; while some of the

"new" channels of marketing produce great results, it is not easy

to figure out how to make this happen. Has your firm's marketing

strategy been optimized to play well on this new playing field?

ILW.COM is pleased to offer law firms a NEW service - a

"marketing analysis report". We will conduct a review of your

entire marketing efforts and make suggestions on what changes (if

any) to make. The Marketing Analysis report is available for an

incredibly low introductory price - only $499! Sign up for your

Marketing Analysis Report here.

as an "honest attorney." ShadedCommunity.com is a website which

provides all kinds of immigration information mostly to the

looking for honest attorneys to answer their questions regarding

immigration law will be able to find you on the list of

"Honest Attorneys" of this site. In order to protect a registered

attorney's profit advantage, there will be a limit to the number

of attorneys allowed to register from each state. On average, each

state will be represented, according to their population, by 4

immigration attorneys who will be accepted on a first-come

basis. Among the 4 registered attorneys, 2 will be Korean and 2

  1. Honza Prchal's Avatar
In re What Part of Your Oath of Office Don't You Understand? by Charles Kuck , I have to say that while I am sympathetic to his arguments, I do not see much difference between them and attorneys seeking to have the Court create law or depart from the Constitution as written - or for that matter justices who make stuff up or ignore parts of the Constitution they do not find congenial. In a perfect world, there would be remedies beyond electoral ones for such legislators, but as with the collapse of binding church doctrine in much of the Protestant world, such authority may be beyond us and we may simply be stuck with legal decisions and the will of the executive to enforce the law instead of the old British remedies of censure and impeachment within one's own branch. On reflection, that may not be such a bad thing. Imagine a particularly cranky or interested Bob Dornan or Maxine Waters (depending on your political inclination) sitting in some sort of oath enforcing Star Chamber to get an idea of some of the ill effects that could flow from any kind of non-speech enforcement mechanism. "Are you now or have you ever tried to bring a test case challenging the Constitution you are sworn to uphold in lieu of the Amendment process ____?"
