    Honza Prchal is evidently a more discerning reader than I am. I also read the WSJ article, but wasn't able to find much more than the usual Fox News style (same owner, of course) rant about how the DREAM Act is supposedly just another "amnesty" and that millions of unqualified people will allegedly file fraudulent applications.

    I think that not only deserving students, but all immigrants, regardless of their status or lack of it, can get along quite well without this kind of "compassion".

    Sorry, Roger. I'm just an old softy, yearning for the days when reform followed common grounds of agreement rather than the expectation that one side or another would cave or not notice the fine print, I guess.
