It appears that ID is truly interested in "reigniting" the letter
writing section, I offer my perspective. I am in agreement with D.
Murray in that writers are not interested in a "real time discussion"
with other writers. Waiting overnight in the old format provided time to
compose a reply or offering at one's convenience. I agree with R. Algase
about the desirability of the new format with regards to no limitations
on content and no censorship as well as the offer to include links to
other articles and sending the letters directly to the editor for
posting, as before, which is easier. Like Mr. Murray, I don't "bother
with it anymore" because of it's cumbersome nature and the "the opinions

mostly delete it. Also, the obsession of ID and some contributors to not
pursue solutions for the benefit of citizens, but narrowly for the
immigration lobby or their own agendas is wearisome as well as the
excessive use of name calling and ridicule posing as intellectual
thought. America does not or should not belong to the special
