2. Focus: Change, Change, Change. USCIS Issues 38 Pages of EB-5
Policy Changes

Tuesday, June 8 is the deadline for the Thursday, June 10 phone
session of "Investor Options For Experts" with David Morris, John
Barrett, Michael Gibson, Melissa Krinzman, Jason Oleet, Frederick
R. Troncone and others. The curriculum is as follows:

On December 11, 2009, the USCIS issued a sweeping 23 page
memorandum that "rescinds in its entirety" many prior policies
that defined the EB-5 Program and establishes new guidance to all
CSC personnel involved in the adjudication of any EB-5 visa
petition or Regional Center application.  That same week, USCIS
issued a 15 page "Questions and Answers" document resulting from
an EB-5 stakeholders meeting.  The panelists will discuss these
very important changes :
++ What are the new EB-5 policies and adjudication standards
++ What policy problems has the Service fixed and what is now
broken
++ How a "material change" could result in an investor losing
both residency and an "age out" child under CSPA
++ How a TEA today may not be a TEA tomorrow (failing to preserve
$500,000 investment qualification)
++ USCIS burdens on Investor not Regional  Center/Project
++ Using "Exemplar" I-526 Petition To Stop USCIS Second Guessing

Tuesday, June 8 is the deadline to sign up. For more info,

    Regarding the new Arizona Law:

Can somone answer this question for me?

The Honorable Ex-Governor Janet Napolitano is a democrat and as such became the Secretary of the Department
    of Homeland Security.

When she left as Governor of Arizona, a republican, Jan Brewer, became Governor. Within two years or so she passed the
most discriminatory immigration act of the century.

What was Secretary Janet Napolitano and President Obama doing all this time? Were they asleep at the wheel or silently
encouraging Governor Brewer's actions? Or were all of President obama's speeches just hot air?

It baffles me that many people who claim to be concerned about the protection of the United States find it out of harmony and seem to run inconsistent with the general pattern of the Arizona Immigration Law. What's strange about asking someone to provide evidence he/she is in the country legally? I am sure those who are in conflict with the law are those that are importing illegal immigrants into the country...probable for the advancement of their selfish interest. And it's strange how someone stands tall in declaring people that have no respect for properly constituted immigration rules "Innocent." As far as I know, a leader is not a terror to those that follow the rules, which means laws are not a a terror to those with a healthy respect for properly constituted rules. If you think that the law will lead to racial profiling, then I think there is a "race" known to be "lawless." If the Arizona law could conveniently affect a specific race, then I think instead of accusing the law, one has to advice that race to get out of that shell and begin to run in harmony with the properly constituted rules. It's absolutely stupid that people that have broken the law could stand tall and ask for right to stay! It's just like someone breaking into your home and demanding for the right to remain there brashly simply because he thinks you have more than enough to support him...how stupid!!
