  1. Roger Algase, Attorney at Law's Avatar
I have seen a news report somewhere (Washington Post?) that the Justice Department is finally getting ready to file suit against the Arizona hate law. Also, the Senate defeated Republican amendments aimed at militarizing the Mexican border. This is also good news.

I am not for open borders. But increased border protection must be part of a quid pro quo arrangement where immigrants get something out of it besides a boot in their face. Then we can have enforcement and reform together. And both border protection and interior enforcement should focus on the dangerous criminals and potential terrorists who can really harm this country, not on average brown-skinned men, women and children who present no threat to anything except white supremacy.
  2. Roger Algase, Attorney at Law's Avatar
Regarding some other breaking news, I have just seen a Washington Post story that Sarah Palin, a strong supporter of Arizona's Wo sind Ihre Papiere? immigration law, has built a 14 ft. high fence around her home in Alaska. No doubt she will now be able to keep out all the Russian illegals who were spying on her from their side of the border.
