  1. Roger Algase, Attorney at Law's Avatar
One of today's tweets has a link to a news story about an Arizona truck driver, a US citizen by birth, who was locked up by ICE because he didn't have his birth certificate with him when he was stopped. We are told that illegals are a danger to America. We are also told that we are showing contempt for the rule of law if we do not go after them.

But who is a greater danger to the well being of all of us? An illegal Mexican waiter or deliveryman, or Goldman Sachs? And who is showing greater contempt for the law? Now, anyone born in America fails to carry around proof of citizenship at all times at his or her peril. Is this the kind of country we want to live in?
  2. Honza Prchal, Esq.'s Avatar
I got this from James Taranto of The Wall Street Journal's Best of the Web Today

    http://caffertyfile.blogs.cnn.com/2010/04/26/will-federal-govt-ever-enforce-our-immigration-laws/?hpt=T2
  3. Roger Algase, Attorney at Law's Avatar
Jack Cafferty's pathetic and totally misleading defense of the Arizona Anti-Latino Hate Act of 2010 in the Wall Street Journal article cited by Honza Prchal shows that the intolerant spirit of Lou Dobbs is still alive and well at CNN, Cafferty's employer. Is CNN so wedded to anti-immigrant bigotry that it is ready to write off the entire Hispanic market, as well as the even bigger market consisting of Americans who do not believe in white supremacy? I hope that we will soon have a chance to find out.
