 Holiday Hiring

This year, many immigration law firms are firing not hiring.
However, this is the ideal time to advertise job openings if you
are an employer looking to hire the best and brightest. The
downturn in immigration law leaves many highly qualified
immigration professionals - who would otherwise not be in the job
market - seeking employment. Moreover, as the New Year
approaches, employed individuals not actively seeking a job, are
open to new employment opportunities. If you want to reach this
audience, now is the ideal time. To place an ILW.COM classified,

We welcome readers to share their opinion and ideas with us by

(a) Dear Editor:
We all have our Pavlovian moments, we are less effective as
advocates for our own points of view when we elect to share them.
By way of both remonstrance and example, I strongly suspect Mr.
Yang's letters would be more convincing to leftists without
attacking the welfare state, to rightists without pretending that
the costs of our recent wars come anywhere near the transfer
payments planned by this administration or by discussing what
makes him sick, which he does in his letter of (11/24/09 ID.
Whatever one thinks of the (rapidly decreasing) fighting in Iraq
or that in Afghanistan, one ought to be able to discuss
immigration in ID. The fact that I dislike most of the proposed
health-care reforms should not matter to other readers, nor
should Mr. Yang's letter's disgust at religion, America's role in
keeping international trade and order functioning or any of the
rest of it. To the extent that such subjects address our
immigration concerns, for example that our burgeoning welfare
state may need lots more young workers to survive or that our
burgeoning welfare state cannot survive more immigrants, both
defensible views often aired in our pages, by all means, let us
all haul off and let fly our opinions and prejudices. They may be
enlightening to some of the readers, but perhaps we can keep this
focused on immigration policy, as all those Republicans blasting
Bush's policy or Democrats denouncing Obama for their respective
policies tended to do, whatever the other faults of their

(b) Dear Editor:
Clean and good governance, strong believe and implementation of
rule of laws based on equal rights and universal human rights
protection for all citizens, separation of religions and state so
state will focus on policies that matter most to the welfare of
the citizens not fuss and worry about dress code, public piety
and morality, whether gays, abortion, birth control and
euthanasia should be legal or illegal etc., serious investment in
education, health care and infrastructures, sane and sustainable
fiscal, development and economy policies are the keys that make
prosperous, stable, peaceful and secure countries with happy,
healthy and productive citizens regardless of the skin color,
race, gender and creeds of whoever run those countries. Mr.
Robert's letters (see 11/30/09 ID) are racist and delusional by
claiming only the Anglo Saxon Caucasians can run the governments
responsibly and better than any people of color and minorities.
Our previous Presidents were white Caucasians and the results are
sky high deficit and debt cause by wars and irresponsible tax
cuts to the wealthiest and it's not fair to balk on President
Obama on problems he inherits from his predecessors. Adding to
the insult is that Mr. Robert's letter suggested me to leave US
out of his denial that American Indians are the Native of this
land, denying the truth and history of which is written in many
books in many reputable libraries, schools and universities
worldwide. I just wonder of which planet or universe these
deniers are living at?
Robert Yang

(c) Dear Editor:
I was always of the belief that it was not possible to register a
motor vehicle in any State without a drivers license and being a
green card holding immigrant in the U.S (11/30/09 ID comment). I
also know that drivers licenses are required to drive motor
vehicles and drivers license's are not only controlled by the
State department of safety but also by the records on file with
the immigration authorities and Department of Homeland security.

IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT THROUGH ATTRITION! THIS SOVEREIGN NATION DISPARATELY NEEDS MANDATORY E-VERIFY! IT MUST BE COMPULSORY, NOT TEMPORARY OR AT THE EMPLOYERS DISCRETION? IT MUST BE FOR EVERYBODY WHO WORKS? In time unable to find a job, illegal workers in large and small business will leave. Criminal penalties for--NOT--installing E-Verify must be extremely severe for incorrigible companies who think they are above the law. ONLY CITIZENS AND LEGAL IMMIGRANTS NEED APPLY!

The open border movement has started a relentless campaign for approval of another disastrous AMNESTY, by sending postcards to Washington. Anti-illegal immigration, pro-sovereignty organizations are intending to fight. They state--NO--Comprehensive Immigration Reform. No BLANKET AMNESTY. Patriotic opponents of AMNESTY should call their politician at 202-224-3121, or go to offices in person. GOOGLE---NUMBERSUSA that will illuminate your misgivings on the issue of illegal immigrant costs, Sanctuary State policies, with expenditures on health care, education, prison, along with enforcement gradings of those in Washington. CAPSWEB will explain irreversible population growth in California and nationwide. Other sites of interest on Immigration enforcement is ALIPAC and AMERICAN PATROL and THE DARK SIDE OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. OH! YES! DON'T FORGET THE 28 CENTS POSTCARD TO THOSE WHO THINK THEY CONTROL US.
