(a) Dear Editor:
Here is a quiz for the day.* What did US Presidents Hoover,
Truman, and Eisenhower have in common?* Back during the Great
Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of
all illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American
citizens that desperately needed work. Harry Truman deported
over two million illegal's after WWII to create jobs for
veterans. In 1954, Dwight Eisenhower deported 1.3 million Mexican
Nationals so WWII and Korean veterans would have a better chance
at jobs. More recently, what do Presidents Obama, Clinton and
both Bush's have in common?* They have not believed that their
job description is/was to look after the interests of citizens,
but have placed other interests above ours.* They believe they
were elected to be President of the Chamber of Commerce and even
the World. In the face of an extreme economic downturn with
unemployment at high levels, the push is still on for more
foreign workers, more benefits, education and failed amnesties
for illegals with token, limited enforcement. If they could
deport the illegal's then they can do so now in the required
numbers with a serious effort.* Meanwhile, don't forget to pay
your taxes (if you have a job) - 20+ million illegal's are
depending on you.
