(a) Dear Editor:
Mr. Yang's letter (09/21/09 ID) complains that his political
opponents oppose his viewpoints and accuses these letters of
hypocrisy, listing a variety of sins, real discourtesy at some
town halls, not holding the line on spending when they had narrow
Congressional majorities and imagined, Sarah Palin's allegedly
illegal shopping spree which was recently cleared by the FEC.
That's politics. It will always happen. Think back to the
"dissent is patriotic" days of people now in power making fools
of themselves when they were on the outs. The key for those of us
wanting to get something accomplished with our legal immigration,
our not sure if it is legal or illegal immigration problem and
our larger illegal immigration problems is to get over that
realization and try to convince people to support or at least not
oppose our causes or enthusiasms. Hypocrisy is part of the human
condition. We are almost certain to all be guilty of it at some
point. Let's stick to immigration. Ranting about the supposed
evils of our opponents is rhetorically ineffective. Nota bene how
much tea parties grew after they were tarred with an overbroad
brush of racism or how opponents of the Iraq war multiplied when
proponents tried to lump them all in with people like CodePink
and MoveOn.org. Perhaps a better argument for illegal immigrants
getting healthcare might be the threat of communicable diseases
posed by leaving them in the US but without access to public
health and government subsidized care. They won't give anyone
cancer or heart disease, but they sure can spread drug resistant
TB and parasitic diseases to a population (ours) where our health
system, believing these health threats all but eradicated, is
arguably unprepared to treat, much less diagnoses these diseases.
I doubt Victor's or Mr. Yangs anguished appeals will actually,
well, appeal to most American voters.
Honza Prchal, Esq.* Birmingham, AL

(b) Dear Editor:
Have other ID readers had trouble with the new LCA filing? Got a
denial with no reason for the denial stated.* Filing seemed to be
okay.
Paul Strack, Esq.

(c) Dear Editor:
How do I obtain the 'A' number of an alien scheduled for a public
court hearing? The court schedule is all listed by the 8 digit
'A' number.* No names.
Mark Esposito

(d) Dear Editor:
We must abolish family based immigration categories for good and
replace it with merits and skills based one because we can't
afford to have unskilled, unhealthy, uneducated, non English
speaking family members of any US citizens to immigrate here just
because they are related by bloodline, and they will likely
become public burden and collecting public welfare assistance
later. Canada, Australia, New Zealand and UK and many other
countries use merits and skills based system which makes more
sense and fairer. Having family ties to US citizens or legal
residents can add some points to increase the likeliness that
their immigration applications can be approved but it's not the
highest points awarded to achieve the minimum scores to secure an
immigrant visa. US citizens can absolutely sponsor their parents
to come here by using long term temporary resident visas with
condition that they will cover all of their parents' expenses and
provide health insurance coverage out of their own pockets, and
their parents can't never be US citizens who can later sponsor
other children to immigrate and creating chained never ending
mass immigration that we can't afford. Their parents won't ever
be able to collect Social Security benefits they never
contributed at the first place for sure and they can't take up
employment offers while in this country. It's time to put
fairness and common sense back to our laws and policies, be them
health care, immigration, foreign policies etc.
Robert Yang

(e) Dear Editor:
Regarding 9/21/09 ID Comment and Letters, astronaut Jose
Hernandez's, "marveling at a world without borders" and support
of, "legalization of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. shortly
after his return to Earth" is only all too typical of many
"son(s) of migrants" or illegal aliens as the D. Murry letter
correctly pointed out, as if "circling the globe in 90 minutes"
made him an expert on entry, able to set aside the wisdom and
need to establish borders and limits. Excessive entry including
the illegal variety leads to excessive views when the normal
assimilation processes are overloaded to traditional America's
detriment. However, JH's view does coincide with the real
Globalist's perspective who view borders as impediments to be
eliminated or ignored in their quests for worldwide profits and
controls overriding the interests of citizens. The R. Yang letter
similarly would have US believe that because some break moral and
civil laws that we should not have any standards of law or about
illegals.* Does the fact that many ignore speed limits or commit
other crimes call for the foolish elimination of these laws?
Regarding the Letters of 9/22/09 ID, the R. Gard letter seems to
believe that repeating the twisted logic, name calling and
demonization regarding health care opposition, gives his previous
letter more validity.* It does not. The other letters display the
fallacy that there is some delusional "human right" that would
allow anyone to come to US, in any numbers, and without any
regard to our interests and sovereignty. Their is no such right
and illegal presence should be made a felony to emphasize the fact.

Nothing is a 100 percent perfect and that goes for the government application E-Verify? The answer for any irate hired worker is simple, that if the employer is not satisfied with the results of the immigration verification identity process? You take a copy of your 1-9 form to the Social security agency, to resolve the issue? YOU WILL OBVIOUSLY NOT APPEAR BEFORE AN AGENT OF THE GOVERNMENT, IF YOU HAVE NO AUTHENTIC PAPERS? This is not a complex approach to the problem, although the US Chamber of Commerce, ACLU and a multitude of detrimental businesses have tried to escalate this situation? They say categorically nothing about how to rectify the matter, owing to their main objective is to demonize the process any way they can? Even their adolescent attitude of filing some frivolous lawsuit with the courts fell through?

E-Verification--MUST--become a permanent law, not just subject to an employer's whim? The public who savor their jobs not being appropriated by foreign workers--AS HAPPENED IN EUROPE--should demand E-Verify in every industry, every business with heavy penalties for those who rebuke the law including mandatory jail sentences. EUROPE over several decades has also been overwhelmed by legal and illegal immigrants, thats why health care across the Atlantic has become compromised? E-Verify could be easily expanded for many other uses in the US, including admittance to health care, drivers licenses, government subsidies that would include education and home mortgages? My family wants a comprehensive package of health care reform pass, then to me it's obviously important to me as well?

But we must remain vigilant as the status quo has in their influence a group of stalwart politicians. They have secretly conspired to table E-Verify in the past and will no doubt try to eradicate it's accessibility in the future. Hundreds of pariah businesses are devoid of a conscious towards the American working man or woman. They have corrupted the lawmakers in Washington, with special interest money and extravagant favors. They have already indoctrinated some of our previously honest leaders with favors and in return we have seen the weakening of 287 G police training apprehension of illegal immigrants. Already President Obama has listened to Sen.Harry Reid D-NV, California's own Nancy Pelosi and Napolitano who have weakened other enforcement laws. NO! Innocent children of illegal immigrants who were transplanted by their parents here are not to blame. Our borders have remained like sieves, thanks to some of the lawmakers whom we voted for over the years. Legislators are ultimately culpable as they make the decisions, as by inheritance of each administration who resides in the White House?

Money was wasted on building the single length border fence instead of Rep.Duncan Hunters planned two-tier barrier as in San Diego? ICE raids have been reduced and even the No-match-rescinded. More money is wasted overturning enforcement laws, instead of using the full force of these procedures in combating the illegal immigrant invasion. IF YOU HAVE SOME SOLID KNOWLEDGE OF ILLEGAL WORKERS, CONTACT ICE! ADDRESS YOUR POLITICIANS AT 202-224-3121 NO MORE COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM! IT IS NOT IN THE COUNTRIES INTEREST. USE AMENDMENTS TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS WITH THE 1986 IMMIGRATION LAWS ALREADY ENACTED. Learn facts not rhetoric or lies at NUMBERSUSA & JUDICIAL WATCH & CAPSWEB.
