    Chris,
    Are there any efforts going on to attach the Nurse/PT Schedule A visa bill to the DREAM act that may be discussed on the Lameduc session?

    Hi Hopeful,
    Unfortunately nothing is imminent on that front.

    This is what this program has done to America -- a state-sponsored scam that fosters slavery

    "Indentured Doctors
    Allowed into the U.S. to treat underserved patients, foreign physicians are instead exploited -- working countless hours, sometimes with little pay -- too scared to complain and risk being sent home

    The program, which was created by Congress, is supposed to be good for everyone -- patients get care, America gets doctors and foreign physicians can fulfill their dreams of citizenship. But it's being undermined -- and, with little government oversight no one seems to care. The foreign doctors say the abuses by employers have gone on for so many years, with so little enforcement by government agencies."

    Chris, are there any efforts going on to include the Schedule A visa relief? If not, can you inform us why?

    Many thanks,

    @ Jack,
    Unfortunately, it does not appear that anything is going to happen in the near-term.

    @SG,

    No significant efforts are happening right now. With the US unemployment rate at 9.5% there does not seem to be any momentum to liberalize any visa category because of the mis-guided theory that one has anything to do with the other.
