Matthew Kolken on Deportation And Removal

Hillary Gets Her Wish: 10,000 Refugee Children Deported to Central America

Rate this Entry
Looks like Hillary Clinton wasn't messing around when she said that Central American refugee children 'should be sent back.'

From Fox News Latino:

"The 55 immigration courts in the United States have handed down 10,142 deportation orders for Central American youngsters who came to this country unaccompanied by an adult since 2014."

The Obama/Clinton deportation strategy has been to deport kids as quickly as possible to 'send a message' that the United States is no place for children to escape unspeakable violence.

Yes, bad on Hillary. Bad on Obama. Deporting 10,000 refugee children is deporting 10,000 too many and is an indelible stain on America.

But Trump wants to round up and deport 12 million people and build a Wall to keep millions more out. He wants to demonize over a billion Muslims throughout the world and trash the Constitution by barring them entry purely because of their religion, in a throwback to the spirit, if not the letter, of the infamous Chinese exclusion laws from one of the darkest periods of America's entire immigration history.

Based on his openly racist comments about immigrants, his use of violence against protesters and his threats of retaliation against political opponents, how can any one expect Trump to follow democratic procedures in determining or enforcing immigration policies if he is elected as our Leader?

Matt's comment about Hillary makes me think of a surfer who is totally focused on a 10 or 15 foot wave, without paying any attention to a 50 or 100 ft one coming just behind it.

I wasn't aware that Trump currently controls the deportation apparatus?
