In my April 17 blog comment in Immigration Daily, I analyze the sheer hypocrisy (with some discussion of the ancient Greek origin of this word) in Trump's legal arguments in the two federal courts handling the Sanctuary City and Muslim ban litigation, respectively.

My comments on these two cases may be a little on the technical side, but they are well worth reading to anyone interested in how Trump is going about his ultimate purpose of setting himself up as a dictator who claims to be above the law on immigration, and the hypocritical way (from the ancient Greek words "hypo" and "krites") that he and his A.G. Jeff Sessions are going about this in court. See:

Further to my above letter, it is impossible to make much sense of Trump's immigration policies, unless one bears in mind his ultimate objective, which is to limit or cut off immigration by non-white and other unpopular minorities, in keeping with the racism which has been at the foundation of America's immigration policies for the past more than 150 years (with the exception only of the past half century since 1965, which Trump and his top inner circle are now trying to undo).

On immigration, Trump is showing all the appearances of a deeply committed racist, surrounded by top advisers such as Steve Bannon, Steve Miller, Jeff Sessions and Kris Kobach, who have even more deeply committed racist white supremacist views than Trump himself.

For two excellent articles about the long history of American immigration racism which has led up to Trump's current attempts to impose a Muslim ban and mass expulsion of 11 million non-white immigrants from the US, see:

Trump has now made it official that H-1B workers, large numbers of whom are from India, China and other Asian countries, are the latest addition to Trump's rapidly growing list of non-white immigrants who are being made scapegoats for all the problems of America.

This article about a conference of top psychiatrists at Yale may contain the best explanation of all for Donald Trump's immigration policies:
