NFL week continues here following one of the greatest Super Bowls in the 42 year history of the championship game. The New York Giants won perhaps the greatest upset since the 1969 season when the Jets beat the Colts. And the Giants were helped by their place kicker Lawrence Tynes of Scotland who kicked a field goal and two extra points to help his team win 17 to 14.
Tynes played high school and college football in Florida and college ball in Michigan. But he returned to his homeland of Scotland to play for NFL Europe's Scottish Claymores. He then moved to Ottawa and played for the CFL's Renegades. From 2004 to 2006 he played for the Kansas City Chiefs before moving to the Giants. Congratulations Lawrence.
You didn't do this one after the NFC Championship game :)... If he would have missed that last field goal i think a lot of giants fans would have been calling for stricter immigration laws.
