ImmigrationWorks USA is a federation of state-based business coalitions around the country working to stop anti-immigration legislation that hurts small business owners and damages American competitiveness. They have a great leader in Tamar Jacoby, the dynamic pro-immigration voice of the conservative movement. They now have a web site and if you are in the business community and want to get involved, this is a good place to start.
These people are NOT pro-immigrant, they are pro-illegal alien. Just as the minutemen and like organizations are not anti-immigrant they are anti-ILLEGAL alien. How can the minutemen be anti-immigrant when they have so many LEGAL immigrants in their organization. For the record I am not a minuteman but if this ridiculous garbage continues I may join.

What don't you understand. Illegal means an existing law has been broken.
If I'm ticketed for driving 60 MPH in a 50 MPH zone. Should I pay the fine or will tha ACLU defend me because I'm a hard-worker, have a nice wife and five beautiful children?
If an Illegal Immigrant is arrested inside our borders should he or she also be expected pay for their crime? Which is deportation.
Can we all decide on what laws we have to obey and what laws we can ignore!

I have no idea why pragmatic people like Tamar Jacoby still hangs around in an anti-immigrant organization (Manhattan Institute) with racists such as Heather MacDonald and Steven Malanga...it is a big puzzle to me.
