Comedian Drew Carey nicely makes the case that there is nothing new in the immigration debate and that the arguments used today to oppose immigration are the same as 100 years ago. They were wrong then and they are wrong today.

I noticed they included a little clip about California's projected population growth. A recent estimate from the California Department of Finance is 60 million (from the current 36 million) by mid-century. Just think how high we could get if we adopted Drew's policy of unlimited immigration!
