One of Britain's weirder celebrities is denied entry to the US. When I first saw the headlines on this, I assumed there was a drug issue. But the denial stems from pending charges relating to George's alleged false imprisonment of a 28 year old man in the UK.
One of the main draws for gaming events are cosplay shows and booth babes. Let’ s be honest here- who doesn’ t want to see booth babes and have pictures taken with them? When I was in last year’ s Gravity Festival in Korea, I shot hundreds of photos of Booth Babes, Lol. It's Boy George!
People with worse criminal records make it through the "fine grains" of ICE Officers. The pending charges can not red flag for Boy George that bended rules of general good sense but that in doing so has positively influenced many and has taught a dignity lesson when he swept the streets of New York. Nobody got even allegedly harmed in any of his legal involvements.
He is coming for a tour with dates sold out and not running for office.
And if he tries to get married in California and take it to a court of his convenience, it is not an illegal activity to immigrate to this country, after all for a wedding to be recognized in this country at least one of the husbands would have to be American Citizen first and his rights would be in question as well.
But is he the real threat to our security?

Considering it's Boy George, I suspect the false imprisonment thing is just one of many red flags that were raised. He was sued for $60,000 by an American club promoter just last October, and the whole history of heroin and cocaine use and charges are also a little less than above board.
Anyhow, I thought you couldn't file for immigration benefits for same sex marriages, EB? :)

They probably suspect he will come to California, get married (same-sex) and file for immigration benefits!

Maybe he should just hop across the border...
