"Dana Rohrabacher actually seems to have really bad numbers. He is not running in my district, but the one next town, but I've been following that race a bit. His opponent, Debbie Cook, seems to have a really good chance to unseat him. The local blogs say its a statistical dead heat.
Let's keep our fingers crossed."

Dems need to win at least 30 seats to preserve a majority in 2010 which would probably be an anti-Dem wave. In the Senate they will need at least 59 seats. An Obama Presidency is likely to result in the loss of the seats in Arkansas, Colorado, Hawaii (Lingle will probably run), Nevada, ND and WI.

"If you can vote early, consider doing it. I waited for an hour and a half and early voting lines are usually shorter than on Election Day."

I did absentee voting by mail. I also have heard that the lines for early voting were unusually long here in SoCal.
But here we had "drive-through voting" on Monday, for last-minute voter registrations:

May be these new voters bring down the likes of Dana Rohrbacher and John Shaddegg. Hope many in the House Immigration Reform Caucus loose their seats and the racists Kirkorian and Steyn are left spinning stories on November 5 morning after the biggest GOP catastrophe since at least 1964!
