Jon Stewart was all over this "I belive the President was born in the US". Yeah, it's like saying "I believe that Lou Dobbs never intentionally killed someone or ran a prostitution ring".

NPR covered it this morning. Klein has told them that Dobbs "believes that the President is legal" and is merely putting out the birther's views and "disproving them". NPR then ran tapes of other CNN reporters completely debunking the myth. Klein also disclaimed any responsibility for what Dobbs says on radio where he takes a much harder edge on the issue.

Isn't CNN alienating a generation of immigrants and their families? I don't watch CNN just because of that 7pm show; none in my family (even my American kids) will ever watch CNN. CNN might end up like GOP.
Earlier, I was under the impression that it was just against illegal immigration, only later I realized it’s against every immigrant and in general against free markets and loads of NEGATIVE and wrong info!
Its one thing to proclaim ‘we are as diverse as you are’ but do another.

I have stopped watching CNN altogether due to this jerk. It tells me these TV news channels will stoop to any level (along with their quality/accuracy of information) to get advertisements (yes this is news to me). I guess best is to read over internet and read some blogs to get some perspectives.

I disagree with this mode of protest. The reason for the removal of Dobbs has to be commercial. I think he should be allowed to spout his nonsense as long as he has viewers. The correct way to protest against his crap is to not watch his show or avoid CNN altogether.

Within two weeks when Hawaii celebrates its 50th anniversary of joining the Union watch for Dobbs questioning the constitutionality of allowing the state into the Union. If Dobbs does not, I would be very surprised if one of the birthers dont raise the question.
