On Wednesday, Walter Taha, a recent graduate of Dickenson High School in Jersey City, New Jersey, is scheduled to be deported to Bangladesh. The last time Walter was in Bangladesh, he was two years old. His family filed an asylum petition shortly after he arrived and the case was only denied last year.
We desperately need the DREAM Act for cases like Walter's. Friends of his are campaigning for him to receive some mercy and be allowed to stay in the country that is his home. Maria, one of Walter's friends, sent me this note:

-Also, we request that anyone with a connection to a local church, mosque, temple or synagogue to get a letter of support from them and send to mo@dreamactivist.org.
