Polls are important as talking points. Look at what the Republicans did with the PEW and Rasmun polls for SB 1070. Polls like this show that Americans do want immigration reform, especially the DREAM Act. We need talented youth in this country. We have them, in the DREAM students.

DREAM Act 2010.

@ SG, thanks am a regular on this blog.

Welcome "My 2 cents". You are back.

Who cares about these polls? Just a waste of time, none of the lawmakers care about immigration legal or illegal. They want them to stay on as non immigrants so they get the entitlement funds. They do not want them to be eligible for receiving SS & Medicare benefits.

Why do our advocates and the Administration consistently push CIR? There is no way in hell Senate Republicans would support a comprehensive bill this term. The DREAM Act already has 40 co-sponsors (actually 38) and it has at least ONE supportive Republican, which is one more than CIR. The DREAM Act makes sense!

Anyone with little common sense will support this legislation along with nursing relief act. They are playing with people's lives here. And instead of making it better, it is getting worse. Harvard student getting deported for committing no crime is just non-sense.
