The American Immigration Council recently released the names of the honorees for this year's American Heritage Awards. As the program will be in Nashville, it's appropriate that the honorees are all musicians. One of those being honored is Australian guitarest Tommy Emmanuel. In 2008 and 2010, readers of Guitar Player magazine named him the best accoustical guitar player in the world.
