Immigrant of the Day: Matt Fuerbringer - Olympic Athlete

Canadian-born beach volleyball player Matt Fuerbringer makes his Olympics debut in London. He was raised in California and attended Stanford University. The father of two has played professionally in Spain for five years. I always think it's interesting that in many Olympic sports, American athletes must go abroad to pursue their sports because of a lack of serious post-college opportunities to excel in their sports. The US is always strong in beach volleyball - that's one of the reasons I got tickets for that event for next week. Here's hoping for a great Olympics, Matt!
