Immigrant of the Day: Khatuna Lorig - Olympic Athlete

If you enjoyed the film The Hunger Games (I just watched it on the plane home from London on Friday), you can credit archer Khatuna Lorig for teaching the film's star how to use a bow and arrow. The native of the Republic of Georgia has competed in five Olympics dating back to 1992. In 2008, her fellow American athletes chose her to carry the US flag in the closing ceremonies of the Olympics. Lorig made it all the way to the bronze medal women's individual match last week before losing. Congratulations Khatuna!
