"There is no case to be made to them. They are in pockets of democrats with or without skilled immigration bill. They could care less of what Indian Jack does for living. They are waiting for their next handout to be announced."
I see you bought the lies Romney has been using to swindle money out of wealthy dupes.
Please look up facts. Republican voters have lower median income and less education then Democratic voters. Red states and red voters are where most of the government money goes - the old, the rural, the Southern.

" that's just a bit too much to swallow for the vast and rapidly getting poorer lower middle class."

Infact Indian Jack there is no case to be made to anyone. Illegals are given favors because they have relatives who vote democrats. Nothing else. Its pure vote bank politics. Humanity etc is all BS. You do not have enough vote banks, you do not donate to campaign funds, you do not devote time for advocating politicians or doing grass root work. You are busy making money. If you want politicians to work for you then you have to work for them. Right or wrong, only then your bills will get passed.

Indian Jack - well, it is my personal opinion that a good case why people like you deserve a different treatment is yet to be made to the American public. Telling the public what you wrote is not a good case. The public is going to tell you that you have got it too good, since most Americans can't afford what you have, and by the way, you did it by stealing someone's job. What you need to do is to be able to explain how you being here helps Americans. I have yet to see it. The reason why measures to help illegals are popular is because they have made a pretty good case. And I honestly think you should not be harping on them, since that makes you look entitled (in other words, reduces chances of people to sympathize with you). When you have a job, and a mortgage, and enough money left over to go to the Home Depot every week, that's just a bit too much to swallow for the vast and rapidly getting poorer lower middle class.

What you are seeing is Democribs building talking points for a debate/discussion/open house/voting record where the language that will be used in quotes is "We brought the bill to improve immigration for the most educated people who leave our shores and work for our competitors but -- YOU -- voted against it despite saying that you will fix immigration. YOU are insane because YOU are shipping these people oversees."
That's it. "A" talking point.
I am not going to say "If Schumer really cared"... I'll stick with the more realistic "If Schumer really had anything other than politics on his mind", a compromise would have been reached before the text of the bill would have been decided to ensure that it passes.
But I digress. Talking about anything sensible is a waste of time these days.
I came to this country for my MS... 9 years ago... I pay -- a LOT of - taxes... earn a LOT of money... speak English 95% of my waking hours... train Americans in my profession... go to Home Depot twice a month to fill up my home bought using a 30 year mortgage... but these guys are still only talking about "ILLEGAL" immigration and passing executive orders allowing the illegals to work and stay here. I got no problem against the illegals... but I am human... so if you are interested in showing "humanity" to them... man up... and show humanity to those who have the capability and most immediately available potential to take this country forward - SKILLED LEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

This guy used to be the enemy number 1 of skilled immigrants (remember Simpson-Smith of 1995-1996?)...can someone explain whether I am seeing things, or has he really changed?
