Congratulations Greg!!

We need fitness to be able to do our best in our areas of expertise.

voteCIR - You're right, of course. The HBO documentary Weight of the Nation was certainly eye opening when it talked about the yo-yo problem of losing weight. They indicated one of the best ways to maintain weight loss long term was to incorporate regular exercise and that's my big plan. Low carb diet - simple and no calorie counting - just basic rules on what I can eat and not eat. And year round exercise. I didn't mention that I bike commute every day. That's the one that is probably most important since I don't have to find time in my schedule for it. It just is a part of my day every weekday.

Congratulations Greg. So proud of you. I lost nearly 110lbs. Ofcourse your challenge begins now and it is to keep weight off. You may already know but as per national statistics nearly 90% of people who lose weight gain it all back (and some more) within five years. I hope we both belong to 10% who don't.
