Immigrants Without Status Will be Guests at State of the Union

I've seen reports that at least two Congressmen are bringing guests to help call attention to the immigration reform bill. Texas Democrat Mark Veasey will host Julieta Garibay. Michelle Obama is bringing a DREAMer named Alan Aleman. And Senator Mark Warner of Virginia and Congressman Jose Gutierrez are also bringing out of status immigrants. Each of the guests are really poster children for the potential for a legalization program. And with tomorrow's Senate testimony by Juan Vargas, it really hammers home the point that immigrants are coming out of the shadows and will not wait any more.
