The Rubio family crossed over illegally. There is nothing legal about landing without permission. Once landed the law permitted them to apply for legal status. But that does not mean they did not break the law. If they had been stopped before "land" they would have been sent back, even from American waters. Maybe the good Senator should pause to think about that?

I hope Rubio will make sure that undocumented are given special pathway as Mr. Durbin wants. They should goto back of the line and apply for green card and citizenship like every other immigrant.
