Help Wanted: Immigration Attorney

New York, NY - The Church World Service, a progressive non-profit social service organization, is seeking a staff attorney for the immigration program. The incumbent has the primary responsibility of providing immigration legal representation and services to clients as well as support for Church World Service's Immigration Programs, its participating affiliates, communions and congregations. The ideal candidate will also conduct outreach to identify and engage clients, establish and maintain an immigration caseload; and recruit, train and manage volunteers who assist in running legal clinics. The requirements for this position are the following: J.D. from accredited law school, Spanish speaking and writing fluency, entry-level experience and knowledge of immigration law (experience from law school immigration clinic or immigration legal internship will suffice to meet this requirement).
